Resources<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

A range of resources are prepared by CCMA staff directly as well as with participating firms, industry associations, and other interested parties. They provide strategies, materials, and other tools to help Canadian capital markets participants prepare for any industry-wide changes.<\/p>\n

T+1 Resources<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The CCMA led national industry-wide efforts to reduce the settlement cycle from T+5 to T+3 in 1995, and from T+3 to T+2 in 2017, on the same day as the U.S. in light of Canada\u2019s and the U.S.\u2019s highly inter-related capital markets.\u00a0 After a successful transition, CCMA members completed a T+2 Project \u2013 Post-Mortem Report<\/a> (2018), which provides useful guidance for CCMA Advisory Council members working on the T+1 project.\u00a0 Other T+1 resources include the following:<\/p>\n
